As a national distributor for some of the leading heavy equipment brands in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an ever-growing customer base, we are expanding the Heavy Equipment Service operations across the Kingdom. We are looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians with experience of at least four years in equipment dealerships for servicing and repairing name equipment brands like Komatsu, Caterpillar, Develon (Doosan), Hyundai, JCB, Liugong and Volvo in various locations.
Principal responsibilities for the job are as below:
- To service, adjust and repair equipment, components and accessories including removal and refitting in a safe and economical procedure using special tools ensuring top quality workmanship at all times.
- Observing and recognizing and reporting defects and/or symptoms of impending failure.
- To replace parts as per requirements while adhering to the established policies and processes.
- Interpret technical service information and data from manuals, bulletins etc. and apply such information on the job.
- To ensure at all times that equipment and tools are kept in a clean safe condition and report any shortages or damaged/faulty equipment to the Supervisor
- Keep working areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Drive customers machines and company vehicles on or off the premises.
We have seen candidates with the following qualities succeed in this job:
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and electronic drawings for Heavy Equipment machinery for various applications like construction, concrete and lifting.
- Having experience in servicing and repairing name brands like Develon (Doosan), Komatsu, XCMG, Caterpillar, Hyundai, JCB, Sany, Shantui, Hitachi, Liugong, Zoomlion, Kobelco, and Volvo.
- Having a practical knowledge of Mechanical, Thermal, Hydraulic, Electronics principles.
- Being able to perform welding, fabrication, and calibration as needed.
- Being computer-literate and competent in the use of a laptop for troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with other team members.
- Awareness of existing and new technology related to the industry
- Having a good understanding of Technical English.
- Being proficient in using MS Office Suite particularly MS Outlook and Calendar.
