Sales Representative, Equipment Trading

We are inviting applications from experienced sales professionals who are knowledgeable and interested in engines primarily, diesel and to an extent, gas. In this job, the person will be part of a team responsible for evangelizing a growing portfolio of industrial equipment across the assigned territory. The person will be reporting to a Sales Manager with country-wide responsibility who in turn reports to the Business Head. This job is to be based in one of our sister companies that specialized not only in supplying industrial equipment for various use cases but also in bespoke equipment O&M services.


Principal responsibilities for this job are as below:


  • Identify business opportunities and build relationships with prospective customers
  • Be a consultant to prospective as well as regular customers by leveraging the equipment portfolio
  • Provide quotations or estimates based on information provided by the customer
  • Support customers in ensuring they get proper product support from the After Sales team
  • Keep track of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales
  • Deliver sales pitches which involve professional presentations to influence customers
  • Obtain customer information and ensure that it is provided to Sales Administration
  • Maintain customer data as per the policy in the CRM software
  • Provide inputs for marketing and sales planning as per official communication
  • Prepare reports with analysis as per the requirements stated by Business Head and /or Manager.


We are looking for sales professionals:


  • With an engineering background
  • Having at least 2 years of experience with similar products in KSA
  • Familiar with CRM practices
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excelling in selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Having Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
  • Possessing a valid KSA Driving License
  • Average proficiency in Business English
  • Average proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint
  • Fluency in Business Arabic is desirable
  • Having relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Saudi and GCC nationals will be given preference.
