In this job you will need to work closely with Power Equipment Service leadership team for the Kingdom, ensuring that work is done in a manner that timelines are met without compromising on the quality. Principal responsibilities for this job are as below: 
   
  • Plan the work schedules on a weekly basis
  • Work with service teams to resolve persistent mechanical. electrical or electronic faults affecting generator performance
  • Ensure material planning is as per norms and that jobs adhere to these norms
  • Progress repair, liaising with customer as necessary, and cost repair order prior to the vehicle being returned to the customer
  • Make notes on customer’s copy of the Job Card of any additional service required and communicate with customer via the Customer Service team
  • Follow correct procedures in obtaining customer approvals for work orders
  • Ensure discipline in the workshop at all times
  • Maintain strict compliance of Accounting and Material procedures
  • Comply with Health and Safety procedures as laid down by the Company
  • Perform in line with the Customer Satisfaction Program and motivate the rest of the team to follow suit
  • To understand, comply and maintain the procedures associated with ISO 9000.

We are looking for:

  1.  Graduate with a specialization in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
  2.  3-7 years of experience in a mid-level position in genset service  
  3.  OEM-level training on a variety of genset brands and experience with a wide variety of configurations and high power ratings (>3000 kW)
  4.  Candidates having experience servicing diesel gensets with more than one of the following brands will be given preference, MTU, MHI, Doosan and Cummins  
  5.  Thorough knowledge of control panels, protection circuits
