Job Purpose:
This job exists to ensure that the warehouse supports the manufacturing process by ensuring optimum inventory levels by maintaining the warehouse and issuing materials. The job is a link between procurement, engineering, quality control, and production departments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Enforce communication on job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
  • Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
  • Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
  • Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
  • Maintains inventory by conducting periodical physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Check and receive all the materials delivered to K20 store, and ordered by materials coordinators
  • Keep K20 area neat and secured.
  • Issue materials listed in the BOM and MRS approved by the materials planner with copy to ERP Administrator and engineering manager.
  • Inform engineering immediately when there is technical doubt.
  • Forward all materials receiving documents to the materials planner so he can immediately update the MDB.
  • Immediately Inform the materials coordinators, QA/QC and materials planner when materials arrive
  • Organize the materials in the bins clean from the dust.
  • Keep Planning system up to date, by entering latest major equipment ETAs as they become known.
  • Co-ordinate production team and procurement on delivery of major components, such as mufflers, enclosure etc. (Just in Time delivery).
Qualifications and Relevant Certifications:
  • Diploma with a major preferably in Supply Chain or related field.
