SDEC culture is characterized by high customer orientation with a long-term view of relationships.  We are inviting applications from candidates who are currently responsible for the following:

  • Maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management; discovering irregularities; determining continuing needs
  • Coordinate with engineering and equipment control for submittals of all documents, catalogues and manuals to the customer, complete and in time as per the scope and contract agreement
  • Monitor and record all approvals of all submitted documents and what is outstanding
  • Responsible for tracking complete project documentation such as incoming and outgoing correspondence, site instructions, change orders, RFI, CVI, Letters, and submissions by clients and subcontractors
  • Prepare a list of all NMRs for every project according to the engineering document control sheet and the bill of materials
  • Responsible to monitor the status of materials in the projects and ask procurement to supply necessary manuals and catalogues
  • Edit or review documents like checking for signatures and dates or as much as drafting and editing sentences
  • Organize O&M manuals according to the standard templates
  • Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Prepare documentation for clients like Aramco, Sabic, Marafiq and Maaden projects
  • Contact customers and other project stakeholders to get the necessary approvals for documents
  • Organize IO&M Manuals according to standard templates
  • Prepare documents for multiple clients simultaneously such that all documents are submitted in line with the agreed timeline.

We are seeking applications from candidates who have: 

  1. At least Diploma with a major in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  2. Expert knowledge of documentation as per the requirements of major KSA companies
  3. Highly proficient in technical writing 
  4. Expert in the following MS Outlook, MS Word and Adobe 
  5. Certifications in technical writing will be an advantage.
